No Place Like Home Senior Services is seeking an experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a gentleman living with advanced dementia in his home.
This position is ideal for someone who understands the unique challenges of dementia care and is committed to providing patient, compassionate, and dignified support every day.

About the Client
- Lives at home with his wife and their senior dog
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a dog
- Diagnosed with advanced dementia requiring hands-on care, supervision, and redirection
- Benefits from routine, reassurance, and a calm, structured environment

Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, supervision, and redirection
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meals
- Manage advanced dementia behaviors with patience and confidence
- Maintain a calm, structured daily routine
- Assist with mobility and ensure client safety
- Perform light housekeeping and household support
- Communicate changes and concerns with family and agency staff
Schedule
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- Opportunity to pick up additional hours with other clients
Qualifications
- Experience caring for clients with advanced dementia or Alzheimer's disease is required
- Compassionate, patient, calm, and dependable
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Comfortable working around dogs
- Must pass a criminal background check
